What is the Time My Friend? – I’ll Get Back to You, I need to Consult my Feelings
Jun 14th
You know, lets set up a “thought experiment”. Possibly not on the same level as Uncle Einstein but you get the Gist =).
Consider that time may be an illusion (because it very much is likely to be) and that the past, present and future are all actually in the NOW. Some people may have possibly heard this before having looked into a lot of the eastern philosophies (like Buddhist and Taoist teachings), however some of you may not have. What I’d like to offer, is a rationale for an abstract concept that seems rather incomprehensible at first….

I must say, it was a nice and humble environment but nevertheless… I was simply uncertain as to where the conversation would go. You see, the last time I had a conversation with him was 8 months ago when the topic was “Breaking Through to Pick Up the Opportunities”. To recap, this conversation was a space where I allowed him to share with me, the times in his early life where he made difficult choices to take up on opportunities which would would consider larger than themselves.
I walked into his office, and greeted the dude politely and we sat at a coffee table (round table…a harmony of equal human grounding). The conversation drew into the topic of Global Leadership Development and here are a few of the outcomes off the top of my head:
- Time and Patience is key. These traits tend to be more prominent in older individuals…why? Well, when you’re older…another year doesn’t seem like such a long time! =)
- Perception and Focus to More >
